Vacancy for director of the High Pay Centre

Deborah Hargreaves is stepping down as director of the High Pay Centre later this year. We are looking for an energetic person with a proven track record to lead our highly-successful think tank.

The High Pay Centre is an independent, non-party think tank set up in 2012 to monitor pay at the top of the income distribution and set out a road map towards better business and economic success. It was established to continue the work of the High Pay Commission, a year-long inquiry into executive pay.

The High Pay Centre also runs a briefing service providing info-graphics and data on inequality: Inequalitybriefing.org.

Founding director, Deborah Hargreaves, is stepping down after establishing the High Pay Centre as an authority on directors’ pay and corporate governance.

The High Pay Centre is seeking a new director to chart a future path for the organisation and a funding strategy to build on its current success.
Job purpose: To lead the High Pay Centre in all its activities including research, advocacy and business development and to act as the main point of contact for all stakeholders including media, parliamentarians, policymakers, the board, businesses and others.
