Fair Reward Framework: Who creates value in companies and how it’s rewarded

A webinar to launch the High Pay Centre’s new report analysing three years of data from the Fair Reward Framework, with reflections from an expert panel (Online webinar, 11:00-12:00,  Thursday 23 April)

This month, the High Pay Centre is releasing three years’ worth of corporate data through the Fair Reward Framework (FRF) online tool. This is accompanied by a report assessing trends in remuneration, employee voice, and wider business practices, enabling stakeholders to make better-informed assessments of the extent to which FTSE 100 firms adhere to recognised standards of responsible employment.

The FRF was initially developed in conjunction with the Church of England Pensions Board and a group of asset owners to help fill information gaps regarding who within a company contributes to value creation and how that is rewarded. Over the past three years, the FRF has collected and released this information through a single accessible tool, enabling investors to explore these issues in greater depth.

In this event, Paddy Goffey, Head of Research at the High Pay Centre, will present an overview of the main findings and trends in the data, including what these insights reveal about company behaviour and practice. The discussion will then continue with a panel featuring Helen Price, Director of Governance at the Church of England Pensions Board, and Cemre Aksu, Lead Proxy Voting Analyst at Candriam. They will share their perspectives on how investors are using these insights in practice, the implications for engagement and stewardship strategies, and the remaining gaps in corporate disclosure.
